I remember I refused to buy a Nintendo Switch 1 until a new Star Fox game came out. I never bought it because there was no new game, but now things are different. I'll finally buy a Switch 2, since my vow has been kept.
Not everyone liked the character redesign. Personally, I'm okay with it, even though I prefer McCloud's design from the earlier games and the recent cartoon by illumination studio.
My only complaint is about McCloud's voice acting. Don't get me wrong, I liked the voice acting, but it doesn't suit the realistic character design. This voice acting is more suited to McCloud from more cartoonish games like "Adventures" or "Assault"
