After coming home from my latest trip to see @@LilArrin, I absolutely wanted to surprise him with another piece of art, as well as a pick-me-up for both of us as we were pretty sad to be separated from each other again. I had a few ideas in mind but struggled at first to figure out how to draw them. Eventually I did scribble something out and put it away for a day. All it took was trying to do a couple lines on Zergy's face that I felt pretty confident in going at this, which is really funny how it went that way.

The end result is probably one of my favorite drawings of a Zergling yet. For once it's not full body like I often draw, but I adore how cute he came out! The face, the expression, the two forelegs up to his chest, and then him squishing into my side like the buddies we are... Though there were still a few rough patches, like the auxiliary claws and doing myself as a whole. I don't really like how I came out in this one! It kinda comes and goes as I look at it, sometimes it looks fine while other times it doesn't, and it seems to go back and forth with me. But Zergy looks the best here and that was the most important part. He seriously looks so cute!!!

This was also the first time I attempted to make some kind of signature for myself. I don't really have a fanciful signature or writing style, and had been wondering for years how I could do something smaller and quicker versus what I do for a signature in all my digital pieces. So I feel like I figured something out: the first letter in my first and last name enclosed together in a red circle, both my favorite color and shape respectively. I might tweak it to have a little notch on the right side to represent the first letter in my middle name, but I feel like I struck gold with this one! It's a keeper, that's for sure.
