Well, friends, we’ve just held our fifth anniversary Furrburgfest in Saint Petersburg. As always, I was in charge of the stage — its setup, running the program, coordinating the hosts and sound engineers, equipment, and stage layout. And this time everything turned out great. We had an awesome opening with our theatrical skit, an amazing fursuit parade with performances that people actually prepared and rehearsed before the opening, and a solid auction with bids reaching tens of thousands of rubles (that’s like dollars, but in Russia)
And most importantly, my super quiz was a success. It went pretty fast, was interactive, and genuinely fun. And that’s all because I had special buttons you had to press to earn the right to answer. Honestly, they almost broke them! My brand-new buttons — which my friend who bought them had to reconfigure right during the festival. Huge thanks to him for that. But I also want to thank my friend from Texas who supported me in this endeavor — Howdy! This artwork is, in a way, for you. That’s exactly the outfit I wore on stage. My friend lent me her poncho and a pretty solid cowboy hat, and the plaid shirt just happened to fit perfectly into the look :P
For anyone interested, you can watch the full festival stream here:

Festival opening is right at the beginning. Fursuit parade at 58 minutes. Auction at 2 hours 13 minutes. My quiz at 3 hours 59 minutes (almost 4, eh). And guest parade at 4 hours 59 minutes
We even have our own festival animated film, where I appear at 1 minute and 3 seconds. Don’t forget to check it out!
And on a slightly different note, my life is, in general, slowly starting to get better. I got a good job offer. I got closer with a guy I like. He’s actually a really cool artist, even if he’s not well-known. And that means my mood should improve soon, financial stability will return, and I’ll keep ordering more and more art :D
