Yay. I get to show up this idiot!
So, I have been working on stuff including additional stories! This is my Snowboard story concept because NO ONE FUCKING HAS DONE A SNOWBOARD SERIES OR ANIME!
THERE'S LIKE TWO ANIME ABOUT FUCKING GOLF! GOLF IS SO BORING!
...anyways.,.. Ofc I made a Lavvy for it, but this one is owl based!
So a lil blurb of the series and what's up with the owl and snow powers?:
When humans began to awaken these powers, in an attempt to survive and after many attempts to appease the spirits, it was discovered that the Nature Spirits were easily entertained by humanity doing rituals for them. But nothing as graphic as sacrificing a child's heart.
In a desperate attempt to survive a Spirit created avalanche, several boarders and skiers used their newly awakened powers to navigate the mountain and do sick stunts.
This was met with what sounded like uproarious laughter at the top of the mountain and a calm in the neverending storm.. As such the sport of Snow Rush was born.
The sport split into two branches: Skiers and boarders.
Skiers use their snow manip to perform impossible jumps, while using their snow bending for mid air art in order to appease the spirits in a less intense, but more beautiful way.
Boarders compete in races, in which they mainly use their snow manip to either speed themselves up, turn the terrain to their advantage or simply… inconvenience opponents. Tho points are awarded for being flashy as well.
The reason why Skiers don’t race like boarders is due to their legs being separated on the ski. In the early days, both sports competed the same way. However, due to the mass amount of broken legs from the separation that skis give, racing on skis was banned.
This does not stop a few illegal circuits that attempt to do it in secret, on even more dangerous and remote mountains.
Totems
When the enraged nature spirits coated the world in a new ice age, humans began to awaken odd snow manipulation powers. Not only that, but they began to see specters manipulating the snow, in the visage of animals comfortable with life in the snow.
After much examination, it was discovered these spirits did not possess a separate will and were reflections of a human's spirit and ability to manipulate the snow. There is speculation that these were past lives of each individual, however, there has been no way to prove it.
The difference in Totem types comes from the type of snow they can manipulate. With two exceptions:
• Snow shaper: Ranges from Powder (freshly laid snow) to pure ice (Sleek). Consistencies change from Totem to Totem. Depending on where the Totem is on the consistency spectrum, it takes more time to convert it to your preferred type. For example, a Powder and a Sleek will struggle to convert each other's snow, which may end up in the middle of the road clean snow.
• Disruptor: Disruptor, as their name implies, are mainly plowers. They can ram into any snow type and come out unscathed. They use a force like energy to barrage through, which ends up disturbing other riders when they ride as well, gaining their name.
• Blizzard: Blizzard’s manipulate the wind more than they manipulate the snow. When they activate their powers they form a strong wind current, peppered by a mass amount of snowflakes.
So yeah. I am gonna post more on this Lavvy later, but if she looks small.... it's cause she's 14.
