Just a study in textural components and depth of field. I liked how DOF could soften even these prickly subjects. I was also intrigued by the monochromatic elements of the composition even though I kept the shot in color.

I am taking my husband on a second honeymoon tomorrow. We are going to Sedona, Arizona. You can bet that there will be some natural habitat shots posted when I return. :) I want to go back to that exhibit and slit a single red rosebud into the upper left quadrant of this patch and take another shot. I think the color and subject contrast would be spectacular!
