Frolic walked home in a grumpy mood after Ponypool told her 'he wanted the night off.' She kicked a snail shell as she pouted, staring at the ground. "He should have told me sooner he wanted the night off, now i have to walk home all alone..." she became saddened saying this to herself; she didn't like to be alone. "...Maybe mom will make me something nice to eat..." with this on her mind she trotted faster in hopes of something sweet. Passing by a few places she came to an ally 'It'll be faster if i cut though" she walked into the ally. As she did so she ran into something. "Oof-' her butt hit the floor. She looked up and saw a black and white pony. He looked down at her with a smug grin "It's kinda late for you to be out here on your own kid." Floic jumped to her feet "I'm not a kid; i'm almost 20 years ol-" The dark pony silenced her "Don't be to loud kid, you don't want the wrong ponies to hear you." Frolic poked her bottom lip out "I...i can take care of myself..." He looked down at her "K, than have fun." He turned and walked the way she came after messing up her hair with his front hoof. Frolic looked back at him and snorted "Jerk." She continued on her way still slightly scared walking home by herself. She walked to the end of the ally and looked out into the street; there was no one outside anymore and she began to wonder how late it was. She stepped out of the ally just to be pulled back in by her tail "Well, what do we have here? A lil' filly all by herself!" Frolic kicked and tried to turn herself around. She couldn't see who was holding her "Let me go, Let me gooo!" she kicked and made contact with something. "Ow, she kicked me in the eye!" The voice let go of her and she tried to fly but was pushed back to the ground. She looked up and saw three black bodies. "What do you want?" One of them got close to her face "Well, it seems you owe my friend here an eye, but i guess i'll just take a kiss instead." Frolic pushed her front hoof out and hit his nose making him recoil. "Why you little shit!" He hit her in the face "Ow, stop that hurt!" Frolic's eyes watered. The three ponies laughed in mockery "Ow, stop it! that hurt!" There laughter soon stopped "Oh, hey man, did you want first dibs?" They all looked back behind Frolic, thought she couldn't turn around to see who it was. "No, i'd like you to let er go though, if you'd please." The laughter picked up again "We havn't had a cute filly like this in a long time! and you want us to just-" "Let her go." the voice was more stern this time. It became quite. The akwardness made Frolic nervous. She tried to look behind herself but couldn't turn her body. 2 of them walked behind her "Well now, sir, it seems you have some differences, step into my office and we'll talk them out."

The hoof on Frolic's back let up and the pony ran away screaming. Frolic didn't get up; she was to scared. She could hear hooves walking towards her, for a second she thought it might be ponypool. "Are you ok lil one?" She looked up, it was the black and white pony from before. He sat next to her; his nose looked broken. Frolic didn't say anything, but her eyes began to water some more. He pushed her on to her side "You can walk, yes?" This sudden movement from him made her spring to her feet. "See, you're ok. Want me to walk you home lil' bit?" "Uh, um..." her bottom lip was shaking " I...i can handle myself!" The only words she was able to squeak out. Hen nodded "It seems like it, i like that in a girl, what's your name?" Frolic walked out of the ally "Frolic..." He watched her hurry into the lighted streets "Don't you want to know my name lil one?-" "I'm not little!" there was a clatter from another allyway as Frolic found herself running towards the mysterious pony. Frolic's face went red " I don't need your help..." He stood up and walked out of the ally with her behind him "Course you don't, now than, where do you live?" Frolic hesitated for a moment before answering him -idk, some kinda pony address- "Splendid, lets go." He walked towards the direction in which they needed to go with Frolic in tail.
