Ok folks. I've done something a bit different again and I hope you'll all enjoy the end result. I was particularly impressed with successfully starting to sing this, as I thought I'd fail at it. Unfortunately my voice has suffered the assault of high notes and the fact I took tons of time practicing today.
This is a song/piece of music that
mookie is partial to. He was recording the music today, and linked the WIP and then I had the urge to sing it myself for him. I don't really know the piece that well so it took a little while to click.
I actually really enjoy this sort of singing a lot, and rarely do it. so I had a lot of fun giving this a go. I hope to get it finished soon, but I now have a lot of work to be doing so it will have to wait a little while. There is also a version with just myself and piano which I may upload too.

I don't know if it's just me but it sounded like you stretched the last Ave Maria but maybe that was just my ears lol

Never knew what the title of this song was despite the number of times I've heard it when it is used in powerful emotional style scenes in movies/tv. At least before it was, kinda became sorta cliche when I heard it for certain scenes unless it really fit. Now enough of my rambles ^^;

Thanks Meeya :3 Been singing the collabs we've talked about recently, still not got anything good enough (in my opinion anyway XD) but I really hope I can manage it soon. I had SO MUCH FUN playing a guitar part for Allejandro D: specially at the bit where you change styles before the last chorus omg. FUN TIMES~ XD!

Thank you so so much. ^_^ Really pleased it has gotten such a positive response as I was a little bit nervous and found flaws in it. I'm too hard on myself but I can't help it.

I is a bum. I didn't get to this until today and I feel horrid for it. Especially as it combines two things I REALLY love: your singing and Ave Maria. It is such a lovely song, and it always reminds me of the game Hitman. Yeah, I a strange one. You really outdid yourself with this one, hitting those notes that way. Magnificent. :3

I am wondering though, if it would save your voice by dropping the pitch down a little. Your pitch is already quite high naturally. You may feel better having to push the lower notes, rather than the upper ones.
In any case, I too await the finished product!

I'm not sure about the key. it was not a planned collab so all that happened was I wondered if I could sing it like this. I wouldn't want to lower it too much, I have heard other versions that sing it lower and it doesn't sound as nice to me. I have not tried it lower though.
I don't know whether Mookie would mind me asking for it to be lowered later, it might not translate well depending on how he is recording it :3
