Meet Rustie! He's a sapient towel creature that lives and 'works' at a the beach-side Red Rock Resort, named for the red-colored rocky mountains along the coastline.

There are multiple accounts as to how he was created, but through whatever means, he was created one day at the resort. The staff didn't really know what to do but eventually decided to make him the resort's mascot and put its logo on him. He was perfectly fine with this; he loves pools and beaches (even though he stays away from anything more than a splash pad since his body would become too waterlogged to swim) and doesn't really have many needs.
He also 'works' for the resort, delivering towels to rooms and around the pool, and using his body to clean them efficiently, getting paid with trinkets and pretty things for him to decorate the room he's been given with. He came up with his name himself after seeing the logo on his chest, inspired by the rust-colored rocks around the resort. The staff is friendly towards him, often dressing him up in beachy clothes, his favorites being a beach hat and Hawaiian shirt.
