Lord Featherdown poses in his self made hot air balloon. In his species of quail the male attracts the female by making a complicated nest. The more impressive the contraption the more likely they are to attract a females attention.
Unfortunately Lord Featherdown has forgotten to leave room in his basket for another passenger and sails the skies alone.
This plush is based on the white button quail which may also be known as the Chinese painted Quail. They are usually flightless but I think it is fun to imagine the lengths they may go to in order to fly.

I have to agree with you. There is only two plushies in my house that people do not play with. And the reasoning for that is because they are bother old as I am and have sentimental value. Nothing more. Everything else is fair game. I have plushies everywhere in my house. I love watching kids play with them!
