Consciousness slowly bubbled back up. Sigurd didn't know why he still felt so tired... Opening his eyes... moving his limbs... both felt more like trying to lift a filled cement mixer. What happened before he fell asleep? He could... remember food. Someone gave him something to eat, but after that it was blank. Sinmara was tugging at the back of his mind. He couldn't tell why, and it... it felt like too much energy to figure it out...
Sleep sounded nice. Sinmara's mental tugging felt more like screaming, but the sword could wait for the morning. Sigurd felt his mind sinking again and he left himself drift back into darkness.
OC Fun Fact: Sigurd gets invited to many social events due to being the 'leader' of the Relic Hunters. The Hunters don't have a formal leader, but outsiders often think Sigurd is due to Sigurd usually coming up with the plans during combat. Videos of public combats being the most common exposure for the Hunters.
