I was a couple hours into this and lost everything and had to start over. I think it was actually a good thing as it forced me to rework certain parts of the image I wasn't happy with.

I am embarassed to say just how long I spent working on this but it is done in photoshop completely with a mouse and I think for now this is as good as it's going to get. Pen tool and manual mouse labor guys.

I am relatively pleased with this one, for now. This is the beginning rough idea for my fursona.
Female rat terrier with an athletic build that's gone a little soft. Frequently seen wearing just a collar. Favorite color is orange.
White fur with dark markings randomly splotched about her back and speckles on her belly and leg skin that show through where the fur is thin. I only included the essential markings that never change here. The dark "mask" like face divided in half by a thin white line that runs from the snout to the back of the head, dark marking under the nose, and the markings on her butt and base of the tail.
