Speedpainting: General Thade
Thade would protest to the "monkey" label. HAHAHA. :'D (it's "ape") *nerd*
Longggg-overdue commission for
. They requested General Thade (from Planet of the Apes) after the movie, as an exile. He's been stripped of his rank and possessions, and now has to live apart from the society he fought to defend. :'(
Don't feel too bad, he was a dick to humans. LOL. He's a cool character anyways, though~

Yeah I wanna say it is from the older remake...which just sucked BTW...cause I think Thade in the original was a Gorilla. As far as "monkey class" goes it is Gorilla that are the "warriors", Orangutang who hold political/religious positions, and the main mass of people the Chimps. They sorta screwed that up in the remake.
Ah, this is....this is spectacular! Well worth the wait!
It seems everyone else has taken the words right of my mouth: the muted colors, the landscape and sky, all contribute to the mood you have so perfectly captured here! What is a lone ape to do in such a mighty barren land? His posture speaks loudly as well as the horse's as to what condition they are in. The uncertainty of life is reflected so wonderfully here.
Love those clouds and the sand/dust storm below. I am absolutely in love with this image. Thank you soooooo much. Like I said, well worth the wait.
