I mean back in the 1950s and 1960s when they were doing fairy tale movies, they didn't really have to option to create it differently - but now?
It's just as worse as poodling in my opinion and once someone does it openly, others will do it too.
1. It's designed to have mesh eyes, and doesn't.
2. If the wearer put black greasepaint on their face, the eyes would look more like part of the fox face.
Either way, the head is out of scale with the human eyes.
