hey, i usually don’t share rough sketches, but here’s a small look at a WIP of my OC 👀

this one’s focused on capturing a running motion with a katana, so right now i’m mostly working through the pose and overall flow. i want the movement to feel fast and controlled—less about brute force, more about precision and momentum.

the body twist and arm placement are doing most of the work here, especially to sell that forward motion while keeping the silhouette clean. still refining the balance between the character’s lighter, expressive design and the sharper, more focused energy they carry in action.

it’s still very early, but the goal is to lock in a strong foundation before moving into cleaner lines and details.



Or i might revise whole style, if im not satisfied when i get it finished. it all depends, but at least i wanted share some of my WIP works!
