The preoccupied heart; it stirs in the darkness like ceaseless candle flame. Perhaps a stroll around the gardens will temper these spirits.
This is a pay-what-you-will commission by one of my favorite artists, Chalkrub (https://ko-fi.com/chalkrub). Being PWYW, it was largely artistic freedom, and as such the actual scene was unprompted. Despite this, it's very close to how I've been feeling lately! I haven't been sleeping well and have taken to late night walks ☾
