Oh, gosh, totally. But that's one of the things I really adore about the artwork
asterionblazing made for this card. Part of B-Hop's story is that he wasn't a massive, already-developed Blake Griffin-type, walking into the pros with a body everyone expected would dominate. B-Hop was a thin, gangly rabbit with lots of speed and skill, but very questionable ability to face down the bruisers of the FBA. His success in the pros was a surprise, not a given.
And I love how this artwork reinforces that. Hopper looks like a skinny Kevin Durant-type, small and light. Granted, as he matured, he bulked up and has become quite the muscled buck now, but that's not how he started.

You know how I know you've shopped on e-bay?
Overall work is excellent. Fun attention to detail and the usual subtle mutilation of RL names and icons. And the goofy, uber-staged photo gives me titalic flashbacks concerning the cheesy card photos of yesteryear. It's lik they got the same guy who did our awful Junior High yearbook pictures.

Dig it, Punk: my name is Phineas Caudimordax Dyves Ban-Maskim. They call me Mr. SOCKS because "this is what it is". You gonna cop a name-sensitive attitude, with *me*? That's so cyoot.
But really, ain't nothing wrong with your given name, Punk. At least you weren't named Archibald Alexander Leach, were you?
Or Sue...

I love that FACE (He had a winning smile, I bet!)
It's brilliant, and between this and the tiny details such as the card being written like it was back when it was released (all facts are before 2005) are just very nice to see.
ill pay 450 and weks suppli of carrots!!! BETTER TAN %00!1

Dude... I can't tell you how happy it makes me to see this. The treatment on this card is TIGHT! I love how you didn't just make the card fill the whole canvas, you actually took a step back so we could see the physical card itself! The tilt is a terrific touch and I love how the material the card is made of actually looks like that matte paper stuff, not just a clean, white digital image. I am just really digging the extra effort you took to make this look authentic... it's not a design that could go on a card, it is THE CARD ITSELF!
Speaking of design, it's so flawless... actually, that's not true. It has flaws, but they are intentionally done to add more authenticity to the card. It really does look like this is something I can buy and hold in my hand. In fact, I would love to do that! I think we should make at least one for a player on each team! Make a whole card set even! Hell, you really could sell these and people could collect them!
You really need to figure out the best way to sell FBA merchandise without feeling bad about it. Charge base price to cover costs, donate the money to charity or a con of choice, use it to pay for the site hosting. Something! I'm freakin' ready to start collecting posters, cards, shirts and jerseys, dammit! WE MUST MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Yeah, it probably is about time I figured out something-- I've uh... spent a lot of money this year on FBA stuff. O.o
I'll need to figure out the steps. Setting up a Zazzle.com store would be an easy first step, since that's how I'm producing most of this stuff anyway. I'll just need to take some time to sit down and figure all of that out-- would be nice to have a link to the FBA store from the website! :)
