So I'm just going to jump in this thing an upload all the art here, on occasion, so that way I can tell you just HOW awesome these people are.
That said, here's one of my favorite pieces by user Not-fun (aka Icarus). He does a webcomic thingy called InHuman. It's awesome. It's sci-fi. And it's done in traditional inks and watercolor.
Have I mentioned before that traditional artwork makes me jizz in my pants? Well, now I have. I think there's a lost art in diving headlong into a piece of art without the comfort of Ctrl-Z or a backup file. It's haphazard, it's dangerous, but Iccy manages to pull it off with a style that's both detailed and creative in its use of color, lines, and expression in his characters.
