A scribble of the two Reiko (霊狐 "Spirit Foxes") that watch over my home's little Inari shrine. They followed me home from my last trip to Japan, and it's about time I visualized them.
Rix is the male of the pair and sits to the left, holding a sheaf of rice in his fang, and a scroll in its paw, while Vex is the female of the pair, sitting to the right, holding an orb in her fang, and a key in her paws.
The sheaf, scroll, orb and key are typical objects that the foxes at Inari shrines are often found holding, though they typically only hold one of them each, and either in their fangs or in their paws. But since I wanted to depict all four of them, I gave them two each here.
