After buying a card that she can now call her own, she is stopped by law enforcement, insisting she go with them.
Shima resists and is pursued by them until she rams into someone who helps her escape. DISCLAIMER This is not a Yu-Gi-Oh! fanfiction!
While the events of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters Manga are canon in this universe, they don't play huge role in my story.
Duel Monsters is just another popular trading card game with highly advanced tech tied to it.
It is purely an interest that Shima has, so she won't be doing anything crazy like Shadow Duels.
