I thought about whether I should post this here or not since the subject is not a Furry. Ultimately, I decided to include it 'cause he's also not really a Hooman either and it shows off some of my artistic range that much of my other pieces don't, like source lighting, fabric and hard, smooth shapes.
I also tried out a thinner line for the lineart. I think I like it better than my typical heavier linework but I'm not sure. Let me know what you think! Better? Worse? No noticeable difference?
This is my Partner's Warforged Barbarian that he asked me to draw for one of our current ongoing D&D campaigns.
I had a lot of reference for this one. I had a separate reference for the face, body, pose, lantern, hammer, gloves, belts, pouches and the top half of the cape. Only things I didn't have a ref for were the bottom of the cape and the background.
