Yeah, it's the "camera" angle/perspective. Brings more focus to the important part of the painting... the face.

I think the corpse is a bit too small, you can draw it biger. But I love the detail you have made. Littl details of fur, eyes. Nice job.

I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with that term. Could you clarify for me? I'd like to learn from my mistakes :3 I don't think I've ever drawn a realistic/semi-realistic cheetah before, I'm sure I made many mistakes D:

But despite the angle of view, the body is too small, shoulders are insufficiently broad. You can test it quickly, and you will see.
In more, or the neck is too long, or the back not follow correctly the prospect.

Cheetah have somewhat narrow shoulders and longish necks for big cats. I actually did want something more bipedal feral than truly anthro, so for me it is perfect =) And I LOVE the perspective and the expression. Truly exceeded my expectations, especially since I wasn't super-specific in my commission.

But I agree, for a more anthro creature the shoulders would be a touch too narrow and the neck a little too long. If I wanted a more anthro look I would have mentioned it in the sketch stage.

I can do small sketches for interpret what i say. If you prefer.
