Yan turned her head 180 degrees '' oooh you poor uninformed child, you can't do a one way trip to the unknown landscapes of the Chasm ! That thing is deep and each layer feels like a new world, that and the descent symptoms''.


She hovered the gaping entrance as Shi began to feel strange '' The chasm is like drinking alcohol, down it too fast and you'll flatline immediately. This is why i have to walk down and not simply fly for the beginning trip, your body is not adapted and you will collapse in horrible agony.'' Shi gulped loudly feeling uncertain about this excursion '' So if we try to reach the bottom now i'll just die?'' he asked puzzled. Yan nodded '' first you'll feel dizzy , then you'll start vomiting and hallucinating, then your organs will begin failing as bloody seeps from all orrifice and a dead fraid shall feed corpse eaters. Take it from a Chasm being, you will not reach the second layer anytime soon''.



Landing at the edge she smelled the fear of her rider '' Do not let fear control you, don't wander far away from me and if i get mauled down just wait a day or two for my body to rebuild itself. That being said, many chasm beast have crazy ability like this, to make sure they die you must destroy their heart, they are tough to destroy but if you don't then it will come back for round two. '' she then proceeded to give his head a long sloppy lick to distract him, changing his fear into anger towards her '' BITCH!!!..... I mean yeah ok i think im good bu...but... One second before we leave'' Shi replied standing up revealing a piece of tech stolen from Zahi.



'' You told me to stay put yesterday but i didn't listen, saw you wearing a weird crown then making weird moaning while Zahi was fiddling weird slabs of strings. Why did Zahi abandoned me, why did she set fire to her home after that strange thing and what is this piece i salvaged from it?" his voice filled with confusion and anger. Yan bit the piece of tech and spat it far away '' She said her old demons came back to haunt her, something about seeking the last person she wanted to be still alive and said she couldn't leave without having me with her. I asked if i could bring you and she refused so we made a compromise with that weird machine, apparently its some cloning thingy''. Shi sat down defeated.




His eyes filled with sorrow '' she..... wanted you to abandoned me.... why... why does she hate me so much Yan?'' he begged her to answer, Yan proceeded by biting his fluff collar and shoving him into her chest fluff for warmth '' One day i'll tell you more but we will be together through it all, sorry but i promised her i'd protect you and i am not breaking a promise for anyone, even her''.
