Sno spent at least a year of his life in the dogman fighting pits, beating up and killing others to provide the audience with cruel entertainment. He never enjoyed any of it, but having essentially a slave status and being a freak of nature, makes those watching him easily strip him of his personhood. They'd make up stories about how he grows bigger every time he kills, that he needs to drink the blood of his victims to live because he's so pale, that he's actually a rabid syllk wearing a ghalla's skin,... All serves as good advertisement, as well as further intimidating any unfortunate souls pitted against him.
