Okay one last one. Probably. Again, this started as Anonycat's (http://anonycat.deviantart.com/) work on the 'Blues' character for Desktop Ponies (http://desktopponies.co.cc/), and I just recolored it and added wings, collar, cutie mark and shades to make it a Dorey Pony delivering a very important public service announcement.
I'm very very excited for season 2 of MLP:FiM airing soon. Anyone who gives me excessive grief about it will be directed to this image. ^..^

It airs on a network called The Hub, not certain if and when they're currently showing reruns or exactly what time the season premiere will be showing, but the network has been pretty chill with people posting the episodes on Youtube so they're all available there. The way they see it, the more people watch the show the more people get into it and might buy the toys or something. ;)
So, if you just start searching Youtube for 'My little pony friendship is magic episode 1' and go from there, it should turn up. Episodes are also available for digital sale on iTunes I believe, and the fan base is pestering Hasbro and the Hub for a solid answer about if and when a DVD and/or bluray release might be coming. In the meantime for just investigating, Youtube's probably your best bet. Hope you enjoy it if you get a chance. ^^

Yeah, I think so. :) There are a number of subtle but funny cultural references throughout the show, and generally it just feels like... yes, it's made primarily for young girls, but the creators of the show realized that young girls deserve clever writing and lovable characters as much as anyone does. And the fact that the fan base has grown so far outside the target demographic is just evidence that, as it turns out, the rest of us like these things too!
