MadJack kneels at the soaking pits of a steel mill squeezing steel girders out from between his fingers. He's trying to get a good supply made so that things can start building up again. Perhaps his actions will call Joe Magarac up from his slumber to aid in rebuilding.
I am a big fan of the stories from American Tall Tales. Paul Bunyan, John Henry, Davy Crockett and in this piece an homage to Joe Magarac. Since I work with steel in a boiler maker shop as a fitter with some blacksmithing, and the steel industry amazes and fascinates me I commissioned the very talented wounderful Wifey seeksieseeksie to do this piece for me. I think she did amazingly at it.
