A large project with a long turnaround time. Currently, it's the second most complex piece I've ever done. I've been studying at university, and it has taken a huge bite out of my creativity. So far, I've been lucky with patient clients, I love them.. Luckily, I can finally blow off studying, I'm on break, it's summer, my final year. So I'm sort of getting back to drawing.
And I've really struggled with this art! Thankfully, my council of friends and fellow artists helped me with advice, so overall I'm happy with the result, I gained a lot of experience. I should say if I weren't such a slacker, the client would have gotten a bad piece, because I wouldn't have been able to follow the brief as well as I did now. It's a mystery the longer the break, the better my drawing turns out. I don't know how that works. At least one upside. Right at the very end, just before saving, I decided to see how whiskers would look on the dogs and Photoshop froze. No autosave. But holy shit I had taken a screenshot of the work for the client. So I managed to recover the details I needed using image enhancement software. Praise be to the great minds who made that possible. I really need to save more often and do something about my RAM…And welcome back to me.
