I found out about the fandom in my Jr year of high school, way back in 1989, I met some fellow students with the same love of anthropomorphic animals as me, tho I don't think it was known as furry back then, but my furryness or scalyness in my case go's back to when I was 11, when I had a dream that I was fling over the landscape in the form of a dragon, that dream changed me in some way and I thought of myself as a dragon trapped in human form since, I still have that dream from time to time.
