I want to share an important update!

Thanks to your incredible support, we’ve now raised enough money to cover my girlfriend’s trip.
This means she will be able to leave and get to safety.

Because of this, I’m officially closing this goal!

I want to be completely honest:
the original goal was for both of us, but right now these funds are enough for one person and we decided that she will go first.

For now, I will stay in Russia a bit longer.
I need time to prepare, take care of my health, and handle everything properly before I leave.

I believe I’ll be able to save up for my own trip later on my own.

This wasn’t an easy decision, and the whole situation is still scary and uncertain for both of us.
But thanks to you, the most important step is now possible she can get to safety.

I’ll continue to post updates, and of course I’ll be working on all the rewards and art for everyone who supported us.

From March 12 to March 21, we’ve received $486, which is about 43.5% of the goal.

It really feels like we’re not alone in this anymore.

My girlfriend and I are trans people living in Russia.

Our country is not only an aggressor toward Ukraine — it is also hostile toward its own citizens.
We refuse to live in a country ruled by people who spread hate and fund violence with our taxes.

We need to escape.

It took us a long time to make this decision and find a realistic plan, but now we finally have one.
We are selling our personal belongings just to save enough money to leave.

But we still don't have enough.

Every dollar or even a single cent will help us get out.

Most likely we won’t be able to leave together because it’s too expensive.
I will send my girlfriend to safety first, and I will stay behind to sell our furniture and belongings before I can follow her.

We are each other's only real support.
Our families and even our country rejected us.
