Very pretty! I especially love the jarring difference between the warm oranges in Dopler's study to the cold blue night sky outside. Can't really give you any tips on the price other than it shouldn't be as much as $100, definetly $50 or a little lower.

Nice, Treasure Planet is one of my favorite films for many reasons. And as a SpellJammer fan there are certain things about the way things are done that just work for me.

My problem with pricing a piece like this is that there's a huge, detailed inanimate object in the middle of the piece.

I would say that this piece, if I paid for it, could be 60, maybe even 75$ ... ... but you don't too often get commissions for huge, detailed inanimate objects, and more importantly, if you do, your attention to detail may be strained by the lack of actual details ... it's sort of a two-way street.

I don't imagine 50$ would be too much for such a wonderful background, though.

ahh i'll keep that in mind too. maybe if i make the file size larger i'll make it around 75$, and you're right about the BG worth so much, its hard to be that detailed XD i have no idea how wallpaper canvas-sized artists can do that. i HAVE to work at small scales...at least for now :P
