Been studying belly dance for the past 3 years; finally started designing my first choreography. I have chosen "Maya's Theme" from the 1996 Indian film, "Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love", to center my choreography around.

One of the highlights of the choreo will be a "leopard walk" sequence whose walk cycle I am designing because there isn't a standard technique that quite accomplishes the energy I want to capture. Anyway, here's a concept sketch for myself to check the visual direction.
