they bond together over their traumas, i think.
the one on the left is Tactic, one of my newest characters - he's a red wolf. he survived a nuclear war, and wears a gas mask perpetually, too afraid to take it off, finding a sense of security within the mask.
the one on the right is Chris, one of my oldest characters. he is a mutt. he is a survivor of a war as well, though didn't fight in it, instead being a refugee who was severely damaged in war. Without his bandages, you can see scars all over him, but he CAN still see - just not very well. he's adapted to living with the bandages on.
