I don't know much about horses at all. Do quarter horses normally have a heavier build like this? I've only had her for two months, and she really hasn't changed shape. Her coat condition has improved on better feed (was being free fed straight alf alfa in her last location) but that's about it.
yep, QH's are usually a lot 'thicker' than other breeds. their hind quarters are really... well, they have big butts, haha. they need a LOT of hind power for cutting cattle and whatnot.
i know nothing about how to tell if a horse is pregnant, but she's gorgeous! i love bay horses!
