Now who's played Tabletop Simulator, a "game" on Steam that lets you simulate a tabletop experience where you can play board or card games? How about taking Uno, making your own version of it, and then putting it on the Steam Workshop and playing it in Tabletop Simulator?
That's essentially what's going on here, this was a commission of Matty's who I then joined alongside Yoshr/Rob and Jinty for our buddy Eddie's birthday back in June, completed by the ever-wonderful Natti! To explain what's going on here, Uno Infinity is an insane version of the regular Uno card game, and it mainly comes down to the special cards. In regular Uno, you have a few of them: Skip, Draw Cards, Wild Cards, Reverse. In Uno Infinity, that number jumps to 40+. How about a Draw 1? Draw 2? Draw 4? 6? 8? 10, even? How about a Draw card where you roll a D4 to a D20 to determine how many cards you draw! The hand Jinty has doesn't lie, the crazy Draw 8 in Matty's hand is true, and that No U card that Eddie threw down? That flings any card effects back to the previous player. Combine that with stacking rules and Jinty likely picked up 20 more cards! Made worse when there's a 4-color stack and an 8-color stack to choose from. Expect games to last around a few minutes...or last an hour or more. It is truly the game that never ends, but it is one of the greatest finds my buddy Jamie shared with us. He definitely deserves some credit for this!
If you have a BlueSky, make sure yougo and 💟🔁💬 the original! Thank you so much Natti and Matty for including me, and thank you for coming to see! 🃏
