can you tell that this was supposed to be an april fools joke that i just procrastinated to hell and back on :(
kiku's head is traced from official art since that's just meant to be how you do it with these types of bases and i used the mobian parts for them, the creffy side is mostly original and vaguely using the human shapes but mostly just doing my own things for them
i had to get a lot of these off of deviantart which makes it really convenient that they limit downloads to 10 per person for no god damn reason, really convenient when half of the bases are too small to get a fullview but too big to not come out pixelated if you download them directly, it's not exactly a character builder but if you want the raw assets to this here you go
that and even though my pc's fixed my output has been really really slow and im sorry about that, but at the same time i just havent felt in the genuine mood to draw for a while and it keeps feeling more like an unfun obligation this week rather than something i actually want to do, i've been gaming and chatting with friends which has been nice and hanging out with my family, even doing whole unrelated projects but when it comes to art my brain just goes No
i dont know if i really have any solution to get myself back into making stuff, im not sure whether i should take it easier and take more of a break or push myself to work on stuff harder because sometimes when im in the zone i enjoy making art, im not sure if this is a consequence for my nightmare of a sleep schedule this year since i think i gave myself insomnia at some point and if i just need to stop staring at screens or something, and don't worry too hard about it because i'm not quitting or anything to that effect, i just feel sad and miserable and uncreative at the moment

during the making of this i came to the realization of "huh, this can actually look kinda cute if you know what you're doing" and i know there's some artists out there who can somehow make these bases look really good with their own unique touches, shoutouts to these ones
that and some of the appeal might just be cheating since i traced some of the official kiku art for this one, even though that's kind of the normal way to do it for some characters and just using paint net's 1px line tools

hehehehehehe, tysm!!!! i honestly find it pretty cute and i could eventually try to do more with it even though i probably won't make it a big focus, and i should do more with creffy eventually and i think i should fix up my own ref sheet for em since i have one consistent way i draw the hair which the sheet doesn't really represent well
