"no more horses?"

a long silence. a very, very long silence. one lone man started to applaud, then every other attendee to the meeting joined in.

what did this mean? the final horse had died.

you see, this would have usually been sad. however, horses began to plot against mankind back in 2010 after one farmer accidentally lit one on fire when lighting up a cigarette. he failed to save it.

horses killed dozens of people around the tri-state area.

hours later, joshua (the lone man clapping initially) began to head home from the no more horses office party. he ordered a pizza and cracked open a beer, ready to relax for the night.

his cats were ballistic at the idea of no more horses, though, and ran away.

at least joshua still had his lizards. faithful companions with whom he spent hours with every day, because his cats wouldn't stop fighting and he was still trying to work out how to settle their issues.

his lizards were there for him.
