Two separate examples of Princedom heraldry, more of a little worldbuildy side-feature. But indeed, the one on the left of their heraldry before fully reforming out of tribalism, the three heads reperesentative of the three clans that allied together to form the initial root of the Ulven...confederation, alliance? That allowed them to survive and rise above their peers in the morass of northern tribes.

Then the post-reform take once the Princedom had suitably ratified itself as a feudal empire. It still maintains the three-headed pseudo-cerberus, but also factoring in ravens to represent the absorption of their tribes as close, eternal allies of the Princedom (as befits the real-world mutualism between ravens and wolves, hah!).
