Rockruff are well known to evolve differently depending on the time of day, but recently a new evolution was found. Rockruff that evolve at night during a full moon absorb huge amounts of moonlight and spontaneously inflate upon evolution, perhaps to mimic the round full moon? Their bodies filled with gas less dense than air, they drift on midnight winds and and pounce on unsuspecting prey from above... as long as they don't accidentally float away!
