this day at work i spent a lot of my day building out the base configuration for a new firewall!
Although i've worked with already installed and working firewalls, i don't think i've ever had to build one from scratch
depending on the firewall brand you're working with, it either be pretty straighforward, or have a bunch of quirks in how this is done
the ones i work with happen to have a bunch of quirks!
so since donkey does this kind of thing for the first time, he's very careful to put everything in its place just right ...
