With Sam gaining traction in the community I was in, I was feeling more and more pressured to do more "mature" artwork.

It felt weird since despite drawing Sam in some pretty sexy ways in retrospect- I simply didn't see her in that kind of manner. She's always had a sort of... innocence around her and her sexiness was sort of accidental.

So.. I made a new OC! Using the original sketch draft of Sam, I developed a relative! Her great-aunt Jo! Sam was already unusual in that she was more comfortable living with humans... so what led her to that? Maybe a rebellious relative?

JoAnne was made as sort of a "redirect" for people. I like her a lot and she's fun to draw (and write for that matter!) Jo is semi-retired and is a 70~ year old catrobis (they can live to be around 150 human years so she's older than most- but not OLD old) and she's quite promiscuous and flirty- using her curves to get what she wants in a playful manner.

I haven't really developed her much outside of that.
