Given the inherent risks and stresses involved in operating a combat mech, it’s not uncommon for handlers to reward their pilots as a means of boosting morale. This particular handler takes this philosophy to a new level, pampering and coddling her “hound” like a beloved pet and feeding her more than double the Company-mandated dosage of nutrient paste after every successful mission.

Glad you like that little detail! In theory, the name tags are meant to help handlers and other company personnel tell the masked, identically-dressed HND pilots apart, but given that 0079’s grown several hundred pounds heavier than anyone else in the HND program… the tag’s become rather superfluous 😅
