The world was torn apart by the advent of sparks, but luckily, SYNERGY has been hard as work untangling the mysteries of these powers and classifying them for ease of understanding. Any single power can belong to any of these classes, or even all of them, depending on how the power works.

Enhanced - RED - Powers that enhance the capabilities of a spark beyond the baseline. The baseline this class uses is a non-spark individual, average in every way. This class includes super strength, super speed, super intelligence, virtually any ability with "super" in the name", durability, intangibility, etc. Functions as a catchall if none of the other classes fit. Heroes and villains who aren't sparks and use mundane gadgets and technology are classified as Enhanced.

Alter - ORANGE - Powers that allow a spark to manipulate a force, substance, energy, concept, or object. Manipulation in this case refers to changing the shape, composition, size, density, color, temperature, position, etc. of something. This class includes all elemental abilities, telekinesis, emotional manipulation, mind control, etc.

Memetic - YELLOW - Powers that affect or are affected by a subjective concept, functioning more by the understanding of the ability than to what any physics would say on the matter. This class includes summoning objects from fictional worlds, luck manipulation, 4th wall awareness, etc.

Generator - GREEN - Powers that directly generate a substance, concept, force, object, etc., either by transforming it from an existing something or directly created out of nothing. This class includes hard light constructs, energy projection, summoning objects, etc.

Dependent - BLUE - Powers whose natures change depending on outside stimuli. This class includes lycanthropy, mimicry-based abilities (power mimicry, substance mimicry, etc.), different powers based on emotions, etc.

Axiom - INGIDO - Powers that interact with and may alter established rules and laws of reality. This class includes gravity manipulation, portal generation, friction manipulation, etc.

Shifter - VIOLET - Powers that transform the user from their into an alternate form. This class includes shapeshifting, density shifting, adaptive evolution, etc.

Oscillatrix, the husky with the power to store and redirect sound in her fur, is an Enhanced, Alter, and Dependent class.
Erebus, the feline shadow sorceress whose shadow animation is powered by a magic staff is only an Alter class.
