based on a true story ^^
the story:
I ride a school home everyday from school,the whole ride takes 2 hours and fifteen minutes
we have to pick up a whole bus full of kids from boone middle school,haines city florida
these children..I have never seen such rudeness and disrespect in my life! they curse and spit on the bus driver and make the ride hell
when we try and get off the bus the insult us,try and trip us,takes our things,stick folders out so the jab our legs
its hell,I hate those kids soo much
so one fateful day I just couldnt deal with it anymore,when the busdriver pulled at my stop I unlocked the emergency exit door and jumped out!
yes thats right,I jumped
I got yelled at by the driver but nothing else
but I'm proud because no one else will be able to do that now I've done it and I;m the only one who ever would XD
so yeah,thats my story and this is an illustraion based on it ^^
took about 10 hours to color because photoshop cut off when I was almost finished so I had to redo it ><
whole thing drawn in ink on brisol board,colored in photoshop 7

I really liked this piece when I first saw it.. and then I read the story that goes with it and I liked it even more!! Apart from the dangers and blahblah stuff, I totally support your action.. your escape. School bus rides in the muggy Florida weather suck SO bad.. I know!! But more than getting off the bus, I love your strong impulsive free will that pushed you to just say "hell with it" and jump!
lol,yeah they are,they have some with ac now,but when the bus is packed 2 to a seat,it doesnt do jack ><
