Information:
A female red chocobo that was originally a normal red chocobo, but she was abducted by sinister people working with the Ghestal Empire that began to experiment her and eventually turned her into what is actually. Fortunatelly before they alterated her mind to turn ger into a mindless weapon, a catastrophic event that destroyed the world by the actions of the mad mage Kefka destroyed the laboratory where she was held, getting her free in the process.
For a year she was surviving in the remains of a devastated world as she could, until she eventually was adopted in a farm that survived the catastrophe, where she lived for a time, and where she got her name. On one occasion, to resolve a payment issue for a service from a client to the farm, she had to fight in the Dragon Coliseum, where she won surprisingly after facing a fearsome Behemoth.
Unfortunately, the enemy belonged to a rich man who was not pleased that she won, so he retaliated by kidnapping her and taking her to another continent to sell her and thus recover what he lost with the fight.
After this, Vulkan found herself at an auction house, where she was to be sold as a rare find. She was purchased by a wealthy man at his son's request. Unfortunately, the people who had transformed her were present and attempted to seize her by force, though they failed thanks to the Returners' intervention, allowing her to escape capture.
