This is a furcot. :D What is a furcot? It's an alien from one of Alan Dean Foster's sci-fi universes. The cover art of one book featuring them makes them look like green, pointy-eared pigs with triple-binoculars glued to their heads.

I'm not sure about the ears, I couldn't fine anything specific out them in the book, but they're definitely not supposed to look like pigs. So I've drawn my own interpretation of them several times.

And in just a couple of weeks I'll be meeting Alan Dean Foster. I thought I'd bring him some fan art, so it was time to draw another furcot. (Interestingly enough if you google furcot you get one of my earlier efforts to do one right as one of the top results.)
