I found out that my new sketchbook can absolutely NOT handle watercolour, so I had to solely use pencils for the first time in ages; it was actually such a lovely experience, would recommend!

You know, I've avoided using jet-black to colour black for years now and I always wonder if it still comes across AS intended (as black) so I'm absolutely delighted to hear this <3 I normally smoosh my colours down to make them ultra smooth but the page texture wouldn't budge and I actually kinda love it?
Some of these pencils are NUBS as you can imagine - all my yellows and blues for a start - but some are still regular pencil length and everything!
