This... is ancient -- and still one of my more beautiful pieces. But it is from so long ago, I can't understand what made it significant. The description I left for it long ago isn't accurate in my mind anymore. So I post it as an early example of my Alphonse Mucha AND Arthur Rackham influences.

It's probably only something I notice since I hold the original inks. I can look closely at the line work -- and it is visible that there was a time when I worked 'looser', with specific Splash-marker brush pens.
These days, my wrists are not what they used to be. Brush pens don't hold up well enough to be of any use. And I don't have enough control to hold a pen loose anyway. These days, the linework is far more... restrained -- to be smoother; more balanced. I regret that to the same extent some people regret their lost youth -- despite still being content with their lives.
