Rainbow Dash shut her rose-colored eyes, pulling her friends closer with her wings.
Rarity fluttered her long eyelashes one last time, then slid her deep blue eyes closed.

I was in love with this work of fan fiction. And right from the beginning, I knew I was going to do a picture of it.

This took...a very long time. Over a few months on and off and during the process, I have learned so much.

Perspective, mountains, detailing. All little steps to learn.
I worry, that Rarity's armour is not quite as Jetfire describes in the story. In the end, I got a bit creative with it.
