Delaware's forgotten resort town, Woodland Beach
Woodland Beach is a strange place to go to in winter. The cheerful colors on many of the houses contrast sharply with the dormant trees, snow and dead plantlife. There is a presence of people here in the form of cars and lit up windows, but they were hardly ever seen. Many of the narrow roads in the town went through marshland with tall grass on either side. Woodland Beach has only one two-lane road in and out, and that road occasionally floods during heavy rain.
