Okay, I'm really excited about this. I started recording drums for 
hali's new CD, "The Lives Of Dexter Peterson". This is one of those songs. It's a rough mix of one of 4 songs I recorded last week titled "I Wish I Were". I kept it simple with a few little accenting tid bits I threw in.
Working with Matt is the most fun I have had recording in a long time. By listening to this you wouldn't think that I'm simply playing, alone, to a prerecorded song with a metronome, minus the electronic drum track, but that's exactly what I'm doing. It was a challenge to make it sound natural. I think I did a decent job of it. Tell us what YOU think. >"^_^"<

You should here it now. I helped Matt with drum mixing and EQ and now the drums sit beautifully in the track. I taught him the wonders of Plate and Gated reverbs. How to use them to color the drums without actually hearing the effect. They sound soooo much smoother now. >"^_^"<
