Really excellent. The colors, mood, lighting, is all nicely done. With the colors, I really focus on the sharpness/clarity of the tattoos on her arm as they are very vivid and unique in nature. I like the warmness of the lighting with the purple on the left and the coolness of the lighting on the right with the blue -- the way the two light sources play on her body works in a really subtle way. It is a nice touch to see it work in unison with the shading of her clothes and skin. The shadow on her forehead is especially nice, as it really makes me want to see both her eyes fully.
Awesome piece. Really stunning.

Thank you ;; I've been cheating lately, really~ I was doing black and white first and then using gradient maps, before. But right now I'm just laying down base colors and then picking one color for shadows and using its inverse for highlights. Shadow layer is set to multiply, highlight layer to screen (or color dodge in Photoshop later, if it looks good)... more layers at higher opacity for more layering in the depth of the shadows and highlights. That's it ; ; I don't know why it's changed so much since I came back! I honestly think sometimes I really do just need to put the tablet pen down and take a monthlong break. :D
